Shanks is a pretty good character, just not my type really. Shanks mainly relies on his Buso Haki + True Strike for damage, while using Quickdraw if given the opportunity. Not to mention the fact that he has evasive I-Frames for non-guardbreak attacks.

Shanks' awakening is really good because his True Strike now ground slams, and he has boosted m1 damage. Haoshoku Haki + both of your abilities and m1s is a really easy 100-0.

To sum his kit up, he has really fast cooldowns with lackluster combos. He's a brawler for sure. If you like that kind of playstyle, pick up the Shanks DLC pack.
